Photographs and accounts of everyday life, from the Nebraska plains to tea gardens and coffee farms farther afield. We aspire to spend time with growers, artists, and the people who welcome us, listening to how they describe their work and the places they call home.

Near & Far is where we keep stories of people we’ve met, things they’ve taught us, and friendships we’ve made along the way.

  • A closer look at artists, their materials, and how they work. Photographs and stories from studios and workshops, with projects to try at your own table.

  • Photo and video essays from tea gardens and the tables where tea is shared. Stories of growers, daily work, and local traditions, documenting how tea brings people together across languages.

  • Photographs and observations from Lincoln and farther afield. A cafe we wandered into, a conversation that stayed with us, or a place worth returning to.
